I try to collect as little as possible.
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties.
What I collect
One thing: your email address, and only if you type it in. That happens if you sign up for the newsletter, or if you write to me. I do not collect names, I do not profile you, and I do not buy or sell data about anyone.
Why I have it
To send you project updates you asked for, and to answer your mail. Nothing else. Signing up requires confirming the address first, so an address cannot be added to the list by anyone else.
Where is your data stored
Newsletter addresses are stored with Buttondown, my email provider, in the United States. Open and click tracking are off, so I do not record whether an email was opened. Mail sent to me sits in my own inbox.
How long I keep it
Until you leave. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes the address. Correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful to answer you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Mail hello@noctalabs.sh and I will do the needed. If I get it wrong, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.
